My name is Annette and I want to welcome you to my blog "May I Have A Wurd Please" This is not my first blog and it probably won't be my last. You may be familiar with my previous blogs "The Eyes Have It" and The "Super" Life of an Innkeeper. I have published a cookbook entitled "Cooking the Keystone Way - With Heart, Humor and Hospitality" as well as my upcoming book about Grief.

I find great joy in writing and using words to convey how I feel, what I think and what I have learned. Writing is better than any therapy I could ever participate in.

Humor has always been a guiding force in my life. When my husband passed away, I really struggled in dealing with my grief. Laughter and writing were my saving grace. I hope perhaps I can impart some of that to you. Laughter is good for the soul; it's uplifting and when done properly it's contagious.
