God and I- The Best Relationship I’ve Ever Had

So I've been married a couple of times, had some relationships along the way, always with some degree of happiness and heartbreak. But I have to say, the only relationship I've ever had without hiccups has been my relationship with God.

I was raised in a Catholic household and went to church every Sunday and on holidays. I was privileged to attend Catholic school, and we went to church every Wednesday as a group. God was something I had known for as long as I could remember.

When I was 15, my mother became a born-again Christian, and I began going to church with her. God is God, right? He doesn't care where you go to church, only that you recognize him. At one point in my life, I really wanted to be a minister. I was accepted to Rhema Bible College in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and I ended up not going- a whole story in and of itself. I have always had a heart for people, and if it's within my power to help others, I always will.

God has always been in the forefront of my life, even when I put him on the back burner. God is the perfect partner. He knows every good and bad thing about you, and he still loves you. He doesn't judge you, he accepts you. When you do something wrong, he forgives you, and then he forgets about it. He has ur back always, and he always will. He knows when ur full of shit, and he's still patient with you. God rules - LITERALLY.

I have learned people will always let you down- I will let myself down sometimes- but not God, and boy do I appreciate that also LITERALLY. I've come to realize the things we want sometimes aren't necessarily what's right for us. But God knows what we need

When's the last time you thanked God for everything? Maybe it's time?
